Services

Support tailored to what you're working through

Structured online CBT for adults across the United Kingdom.

Each service below is one-to-one, delivered by video call and paced around what feels manageable for you. If you're not sure which is the right fit, an initial consultation is a good place to start.

First step

Initial consultation

A short first appointment to understand what you're looking for and check that Emily is the right therapist for you.

The initial consultation is an opportunity to talk through what's brought you here, ask any questions and decide together how (or whether) to go forward. There's no obligation to book further sessions afterwards.

Individual therapy

Who it's for

Adults across the United Kingdom looking for structured, evidence-based support that fits around everyday life.

Difficulties it may support

  • Low mood and depression
  • Anxiety and worry
  • Stress and burnout
  • Difficulties with self-esteem and confidence
  • Life transitions and change

What a session may involve

Sessions are collaborative. We start by understanding what you would like to be different, agree on goals together and work through them at a pace that feels right, using CBT tools you can carry forward on your own.

Trauma-informed therapy

Who it's for

Adults who have experienced traumatic events and would like structured, evidence-based support.

Difficulties it may support

  • Post-traumatic stress
  • Difficult memories and intrusive thoughts
  • Avoidance and hypervigilance
  • Trauma affecting sleep, relationships or day-to-day life

What a session may involve

We move at a pace you set. Early sessions focus on understanding what you have been carrying and building steadiness before we approach anything harder. Trauma-focused approaches are introduced only when it feels right for you.

Anxiety and depression support

Who it's for

Adults noticing that anxiety or low mood is affecting how they think, feel or move through the day.

Difficulties it may support

  • Generalised anxiety and worry
  • Panic and physical symptoms of anxiety
  • Social anxiety
  • Low mood, hopelessness and loss of motivation
  • Rumination and negative thinking patterns

What a session may involve

We look at the patterns that keep anxiety or low mood going, and work through practical CBT strategies to interrupt them. Between-session experiments are gentle and always agreed together.

Athlete performance and competition mindset

Who it's for

Adult athletes across sports, from club level to professional, working on the mental side of performance and competition.

Difficulties it may support

  • Building confidence and self-belief
  • Managing pressure, expectation and the fear of underperforming
  • Recovering focus after mistakes or setbacks
  • Pre-competition nerves affecting performance
  • Returning to performance after injury
  • Concentration and staying present under pressure

What a session may involve

We work on the thought patterns and physical responses that show up around training and competition, and build in practical tools you can use in your day-to-day and on the day itself. Sessions are grounded in your sport and the way you compete.

Emergency services and healthcare professionals

Who it's for

Adults working in emergency services, ambulance, fire, police, medical and healthcare professions.

Difficulties it may support

  • Cumulative stress and burnout
  • Impact of critical or traumatic incidents
  • Sleep, shift-work and recovery
  • Feeling disconnected from work or home life
  • Guilt, moral injury and difficult decisions at work

What a session may involve

You will not need to explain the job. Sessions are online and scheduled around shift work where possible, with an approach shaped by what your role actually asks of you.

Charitable organisations

Who it's for

Charities and support organisations working with adults affected by trauma, who would like to refer clients for online therapy.

Difficulties it may support

  • Trauma-related difficulties in adults supported by your organisation
  • Support for beneficiaries who need structured therapy alongside your services

What a session may involve

We can talk through how a referral pathway might work for your organisation, what information we would need and how we protect the boundary between your support and the therapy relationship.
